How we work
How The Tech Courier prepares its videos and stories.
Public sources, always cited
Every fact comes from a public source: a news article, a press release, an official document. Sources are numbered at the bottom of every story and each sentence points to its own.
A paywalled or unreadable article does not count as a source.
An automatic check before publication
Before publication, a program compares the story with its sources: every number, every date and every quote in quotation marks must be found there. Any mismatch blocks publication until it is fixed.
Artificial intelligence, and a human review
We use artificial intelligence for writing, for the voice of the videos and for some illustrations.
Nothing is published without a human review.
Corrections, dated
When we get something wrong, we fix it. A corrected story carries the words "Updated on" followed by the date of the correction.
Partnerships, always disclosed
Sponsored content is always disclosed as a partnership. The facts it presents are sourced like everything else.
